Sunday, December 31, 2017. Which, at 900 pages, was not the page-turner I had hoped it would be. It took me far longer to finish than I anticipated and kept me from getting to still more books. For 2018, I will continue to aim high. Part of my annual shelf-sitter goal includes a list of 12 books that I have been meaning to read for a long time. Thursday, January 01, 2015. I believe I will keep most of the ones I made last year, with the caveat that I, first and foremost, will just immerse myself in the joys and challenges of reading and the comfort and brilliance of books. This includes middle grade and YA books I read with my kids and for the book clubs I co-lead. I will read at least 25 shelf-sitters this year! Read at least three of my Persephone books.

I have mentally composed many posts, but have left them untyped in the recess of my brain. When I came here tonight it startled me to see that I had been a blogger since 2005. That was ten years ago.
